Leigh Court
This was a string of projects to a building that was originally a stable that was converted to offices (now Class E) in the 1980s.
The building had a beautiful bath stone facade but the landscape lacked character and presence. We worked with the client and their ideas to improve the landscape and this included new arched entrance signage, benching and central sculpture. We produced design drawings with a photographic audit and heritage statement for this successful Listed Building Application.
Later, we supported the client with another Listed Building Application for the conversation on the rear, semi-circular unused garden adjacent to the Class E units, to create a spa and wellness facilities. This consisted of a natural pool, sauna, gazebo and repairs to the walls of this Grade 2 Listed building within the Registered Park and Garden.
